COOLFest

About Us

History

The first COOLFest, Celebration Of Our Lives Festival, was first held in 2006 in partnership between Keystone Substance Abuse Services and Leadership York County.  It was created as an all day event held in March at Manchester Village.  Since that time COOLFest has been moved to May, the time between prom and graduation.  Keystone remains the presenting sponsor along with BI-LO, who signed on in 2008.  In 2011, Keystone began partnering with Werner Family Chiropractic and Kid's Day America.  In year's past Kid's Day America coincided with COOLFest, and since both events promote the health and well being of our youth, we began joining our efforts to host one event.

Purpose

The purpose of COOLFest is to give York County youth the opportunity to focus their energy on making healthy choices by showing them the alternative fun, healthy activities, camps, and summer programs that exist in the community and showcasing our youth’s talents and accomplishments.

What to Expect

COOLFest offers exciting relay races, games, hands on activities, interactive booths and lots of outdoor fun! This year's theme is Field Day and will offer many different relay games and activities.  COOLFest is truly a community event, featuring Summer Camps and Programs, Law Enforcement, Public Safety and local agencies to educate us about the services available to York County youth.  Join us for a FREE day of fun at the BMX Supercross Field and celebrate the upcoming summer season, kids and healthy activities-a perfect combination!

This is a rain or shine event.

This is also a tobacco free event.
