          Queen of Chocolate

Meet the 2016 Queen of Chocolate:

               Jennifer Childers

Jennifer Childers has been a Rock Hill resident for 16 years and actively involved in the community. After graduating from Winthrop University, she began working for South State Bank where she has worked for 12 years and is currently the Loan Assistant Manager.

You may recognize Jennifer from her latest volunteer role as the 2016 Chair of Rock Hill’s Come-See-Me Festival. Previous to this role, she has been involved with the Festival since 2009. In addition, she has served as a member/officer of the Junior Welfare League since 2008; a community service driven women’s organization assisting many local nonprofit agencies including Keystone. Since 2005, she also continues to serve as the President and Treasurer of Winthrop University’s Tri-Sigma Housing Board. Currently, Jennifer serves on the Boards for the Arts Council of York County and the Come-See-Me Festival.

Jennifer and her husband Brent live in Rock Hill and are passionate about animals, especially dogs. Parents of 3 senior dogs, they enjoy boating on Lake Wylie and spending time with friends and family.

Jennifer is humbled to serve as the 2016 Queen of Chocolate. Almost everyone has been impacted by substance abuse whether personally, through a relative, or alongside a friend. Keystone’s treatment and counseling services provide such a great resource to the residents of York County and Jennifer is proud to be involved with such a great organization.
