I need information

I got a DUI and need to get my license back.
In order to have your driver’s license reinstated by the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), you must successfully complete a certified Alcohol and Drug Safety Action Program (ADSAP)

To enroll, bring a picture ID and a copy of your 10-year driving record, which can be obtained at the DMV, and complete an assessment with a counselor.  Click here to go to ADSAP link.

I think that my family member may be using alcohol/drugs.  Can I have them drug tested?
Keystone Substance Abuse Services offers drug screening both in-house and via a laboratory.  Please see our Drug Screening Page for information about the different types of drug screens, what drugs we test for, and the specific cost.

What can I do if the drug test is positive?
If the drug test is positive, the person can complete an alcohol and drug assessment. If the drug test was conducted during one of the assessment walk-in times the assessment can be completed at that time or arrangements can be made for the person to come back to complete the assessment at a later date and time.

How much does treatment cost?

The cost of services at Keystone varies depending on the individual program that a person is assessed into.  However, Keystone does not refuse services to anyone based on inability to pay.  After completion of an assessment, each person will meet with the finance department to complete a financial agreement and/or a financial assessment.  Please see our cost link for more information.

How do I get enrolled in services?

The first step in getting enrolled in services at Keystone is to have an assessment conducted by a clinical counselor.  Keystone Substance Abuse Services offers assessment on demand; please see the Alcohol and Drug Assessment page for a schedule of walk-in times available.  After completing an assessment, the treatment team will make a recommendation for services based on your individual needs.

My loved one is in a program at Keystone.  Am I allowed to attend with them?
Alcohol and Drug addiction is a disease that affects all members of the individual’s life.  Family support is an important part in the recovery process.  All of Keystone’s Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) offer a family component.

Keystone cared about more than just my drug addiction. I feel so much better.  --Keystone client
