Substance use disorders are medical diagnoses that are often accompanied by social or legal challenges.

We look at all of the ways that your life has been affected by substance use so you can succeed long-term. The caring, professional staff at Keystone meet all patients where they are. Without judgment, our clinicians guide each individual, based on his or her unique set of circumstances, to an appropriate program in Keystone’s broad continuum of care.

Evidence-Based Services

In Keystone’s specialized outpatient services, patients learn about the physiology of using substances and about the risks that are ahead should their substance use continue.

Patients connect with peers who are dealing with similar issues, learn how to better communicate with family members and friends, and get the support they need.

Curriculum Programs

Crossroads program is designed for those who may not have a substance use disorder, but are experimenting with drugs or alcohol and realize that they might be headed down an unhealthy path. The program consists of three individual counseling sessions and three group sessions focused on changing behaviors that are potentially harmful to your health and well-being.

Solutions and Transitions are programs for persons with a mild or moderate substance use issue. The Solutions program is a once-a-week program, and the Transitions program is a twice-a-week program. Both programs are designed to help you find hope and healing through counseling.

Peer Support Services

Making connections while participating in treatment for substance use disorders can be one of the most powerful ways to find hope and healing. We offer Peer Support Services so patients who are currently in treatment can receive support and motivation from peers who are in sustained recovery. This highly successful program helps patients achieve vital life linkages such as employment, housing and healthcare.

Recovery Management

Recovery Management is for persons who have completed an intensive treatment program. This level of care allows patients to create support systems so they can continue successful management of a substance use disorder and prevent re-occurrence of substance use symptoms. In Recovery Management, patients will receive support from others who are also in early stages of recovery. Patients are welcome to continue in Recovery Management for an unlimited time frame.
