YORK COUNTY, S.C. (FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) – A woman wanted for involuntary manslaughter after a teenager died from drinking alcohol back in December turned herself in to police Monday morning, according to the York County Sheriff’s Office.
Kelly Hedrick, 28, was taken into custody on one charge of involuntary manslaughter. 16-year-old Shelby Brakefield was found unresponsive by her family after reportedly acquiring alcohol from Hedrick.
